We're celebrating our second anniversary!

The whole team here at Sumo Warrington are celebrating this week as our studio turns two! 

A lot has happened since we started in 2019. The world has changed due to the pandemic and the games industry has been through an incredible period of growth. Over that time, Sumo Warrington has nurtured a robust team of elite technical specialists, working on some incredibly exciting products with top partners – including Sports Interactive and Sony. 

Scott Kirkland, Studio Director, said: “We're celebrating our second birthday at Sumo Warrington! Since the studio's reveal back in 2019, we've been building a world-class team of engineers who've already worked their technical magic on awesome games including double BAFTA award-winning Sackboy: A Big Adventure and the hugely popular Football Manager '21.  

“We've also been delivering dependable technical excellence to some exciting new titles that are still swathed in secrecy. We can't wait to share more on these as our story unfolds!” 

A Sumo Digital studio, our Sumo Warrington team are experts in console and PC engineering, specializing in high-performance, cutting-edge technology.
